LABRADOR PARK, SINGAPORE
Labrador Park is located along Telok Blangah Road, not very far from Harbour Front/Sentosa.
Labrador is another place that tells the sights and history of wartime in Singapore (WorldWar II). Is another site for take a walk along the beach (but not to play at beach like at East Coast/Sentosa). There are benches, shelters, playground, fitness corner around the area for a walk or just picnic with family. Also can do BBQ as a numbers of BBQ pits are available.
Fishing, bird watching, cycling, history trails, are another activities that can be done in this area.
No entrance fee... car park is free... unless if you want to enter into the Labrador Secret Tunnel, the charges is S$8.00+GST for adults and S$5.00+Gst for children. This secret tunnel is found on 2001 (?? I read it somewhere .. not too sure, sorry!), but is sure that this tunnel is officially launch for open to public on 11 March 2005. No camera or video can be brought inside.
This place is famous for the wedding photos (eventhough I do not know, why..?). I went this place 2 times, and each time I met with wedding couples. And... this place also good for those who want to talk 'heart to heart' before take the wedding photos... many couples like to come here ... see .... this photo is a proof that in one corner there are 4 couples ...?? 5 actually, but the other couple busy took the photos :)
The location is not very convenience for those who are not driving, especially if you plan to visit this place during weekdays. After alight from SBS Transit service no. 10, 30, 51 or 143 along Pasir Panjang Road (opposite PSA Building), continue for a 20 minute walk to the park.
