In the evening, we have nothing to do except go marketing to shop for the groceries, and can be done later... then we went to JTC Hill... somewhere above Jurong Bird Park Singapore. I have been to this area before to send my friend's sister who is working in the restaurant up there and she told me that the view is quite nice. Since Bagio also looking for some places, some objects for him to practice photography, so we decided to visit this place.
This area is under JTC (Jurong Town Council), Singapore. There is a look-out tower and open for public freely from 08.00am to 12.00 am.
If you do not drive or take taxi, then you have to take bus until Jurong Bird Park and continue with walking up maybe about 15-20 min. If drive, there are 2 carparks, the lower car park is for those who are going to the restaurant (Indonesian, Japanese and Western Food are available here). The upper car park is available for those who are going to the look-out tower to see the view, visit the Garden of Fame or.. just to dating with your love ones.
From the here, we can see the view of the container port at Jurong Port area. The wind is quite strong.
GARDEN OF FAME
The Garden of Fame is a 'small' garden with a few type of trees that been planted by famous people, such as President, Prime Minister, King or Queen of certain country.
I saw the trees that planted by Soeharto (ex-Indonesia president), Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Alexandra, W. McMahon (ex Prime Minister of Australia) etc...
Is a nice and quiet place for discussion, relax... as not many people come to this place....
The tree behind me is the tree that planted by Soeharto in the year 1974 during his state visit to Singapore.
