Pipie from Adelaide on the way back to Adelaide from Solo, stopped over in Singapore for 7-8 hours. We met at Bugis and brought her for some shopping before we headed to Duncan/Faith's house for Laksa Blending.

Today is the Rice Dumpling festival according to Chinese Calendar. Everybody will eat Dumpling ...
Early in the morning, my friend Chiew Har called to borrow the camera to take photo of "Standing Egg". Standing Egg??? YES.. is standing egg, the egg that can stand on itself on the flat surface. The egg will stand at about 12 Noon... and she wants to show it to the children.
At about 12pm... the children go out from the house and everyone received 1 egg and try to make it stand.. In the beginning was not that easy.. but slowly everyone can make it STAND!! This is not magic.. but according to scientific is because on that day that hour, the distance between earth and moon was the shortest/closest, so the gravity is very strong... I dont know.. but I saw it that the eggs were standing yesterday. Will the egg stand again today or tomorrow? Let's try it and let me know if you can make it stand. The egg is raw, intact and did not apply anything on it.
